Getting Away With It

I'm David. During the day I work in tech. I go out and visit bookstores on the weekends.

on Podcasts

Does anyone find themselves keeping up very eagerly with a podcast for a couple weeks, maybe a few months, until you find yourself realizing that the people who do the podcasts have run out of arguments to have and are just looping through the same conversations over and over again with enough breaks between that no one really notices, and after that you really can’t bear to listen to the entire hour-long program ever again?

I’ve done this with five or six different (very good) podcasts over the last year or so, the cycle from “wow, this is great” to “wow, I’ve heard this before and know how this argument runs” takes an average of five weeks.
